Corby in Pictures - Trip to London

November 23, 2016
I was asked to take part in the National Paralympic Day at the Olympic Park in London. I decide to invite the Oakley Grange Community Arts Panel along to the event to create art alongside me. Along with the help of Made in Corby and the team at Oakley Grange we got the panel to London. Some of the group had never even been on  a train before, so this trip was an amazing day for them. Dreams of iCalverton Unveiling

July 9, 2016

On Friday 8th July I was very proud to unveil the 60 foot mural at Colonel Frank Seely School, in Calverton, Nottinghamshire, as part of the Arts Council England funded community Arts project.

I worked along the community of Calverton to create and capture their dreams in several large scale commissions, including: 

  • 60 foot mural (pictured)
  • 36 banners for pop up galleries throughout the town
  • a piece of public art for the schools water tower
  • a digital installation at the beautiful Papplewick Pumpi...

Marking the DDA - West Midlands

Marking the DDA is an ongoing project during which I am working with artists Alan Maclean, Jo Jo Vagabondi, Robin Surgeoner to mark the 20th anniversary of the Disability Discrimination (DDA)


We have been working with adults with learning disabilities in the West Midlands, which will culminate in public performances, involving puppets, live music and live art, being made on the side of the galleries, with the groups in real time.

2015 Magna Carta Flag Commission - Lincolnshire

March 23, 2016

As part of the 'Radiating Signals' project, I was honoured to be asked to help design a new set of flags to celebrate the heritage and character of Lincolnshire towns.

During the project community groups from 10 locations across Lincolnshire joined me in workshops to help create artwork and designs for the flags.

The flags were unveiled on 13th June 2015.

2015 Even Coal Shimmers At Night Community Project

Supported by Arts Council England, 'Even Coal Shimmers at Night' has been a fantastic project to work on with staff and students from Brookwood & Hoyland Common Primary schools as well as artistic Partners; 'Think Create Move' and 'The Collaborators'
